A deposit that has not arrived: what to check
Most missing deposits are a rail, address or confirmation problem, not a lost record.
When a deposit has not arrived, check three things in order: the rail or chain, the address and its tag, and the confirmation count.

Is it the right chain?
One coin can move on several chains. A wrong chain does not destroy the asset, but it needs manual handling and takes far longer - start with the chain shown in the deposit record.
Is the tag filled in?
Some chains need an address and a memo or tag together. A missing tag is the most common not-arrived case; check which fields the platform asked for.
Are there enough confirmations?
An exchange credits after a set number of blocks and shows how many have landed. The balance does not move before that threshold, and waiting is normal.
Common questions
What if the deposit is not in the record at all?
First confirm the sending side broadcast successfully and has a transaction hash, then take that hash to official support. Do not publish the hash or the address in a group.
Can a wrong-chain deposit be recovered?
Only the platform can say, and it depends on whether it holds keys for that chain. A third party offering paid recovery is high risk by definition.
